Cows On Parade

The life-sized cows being displayed in the original Cow Parade in Chicago inspired the Cow Parade Figurine Collection.  There have been other Cow Parade exhibitions around the country since the first in 1999. These life-sized cows were made of fiberglass and hand painted by artists.  The event was sponsored by local Chicago businesses for two reasons; to showcase a variety of beautiful art objects for the public at large and to raise money for charities.  The Cow Parade continues to be a huge success.

Art collectors are now able to experience the fun of the Cow Parade in their own homes, because small ceramic and resin replicas of many of the works displayed around the world have been created and offered to the public by Westland Giftware. Cow Parade figurines vary by item, but the average size of a Cow Parade figurine is approximately 6" (15.24 cm) long on all fours, or 10" (25.4 cm) tall when standing.
